    looking for some reishi, the shiny red kind, for immune system boosting. anyone ever find any around here?

    I have a friend’s report of a find in Oak Creek but haven’t confirmed it myself. I hunt a lot in Az and have found loads of turkey tail along Oak Creek. There a many truffles in the area too and also available in the fall when there is not a lot of above ground fruitings.

    I found some nice ones on the Mogollon Rim near Bear Canyon Lake in late July and again in late August. See:

    I gave them to Tana Karen in Prescott, who is making a tincture with them. It’s going to be ready soon, she tells me. The photo she sent me last week is attached.
